Our weekly Sunday morning worship service starts at 10 AM with fellowship and coffee. The music usually gets going by 10:10 and includes scripture readings and a prayer time. The children are sent to their own classes prior to the sermon. Following the sermon there is always a happy fellowship time. On the first Sunday of each month, our gathering includes a delicious soup and bun lunch – potluck! Location and directions.
What to expect
Sunday mornings at North Cowichan Alliance Church are relaxed, including a wide variety of music (singing), prayer, and good Bible teaching. The gatherings are focused around the good news of Jesus Christ and what it means to follow Him today. They are times for our souls to be recharged, encouraged and re-focused.
If you wish to go to a church where things are perfect, we are probably not for you. At North Cowichan Alliance people come and worship and serve as they are. We do however expect to encounter God!
There are many opportunities to serve at North Cowichan – we have a constant need for people with a servant spirit to join us!
There is a large parking lot behind the Church.
We have a strong Sunday school staffed by experienced teachers. Ages range from kindergarten to grade 12.
About the Christian and Missionary Alliance of Canada
The Christian and Missionary Alliance of Canada has been a growing evangelical denomination since the 1880s. We are people committed to following Jesus.
We are a group of more than 430 local churches in Canada, and we engage in justice and compassion work in Canada and around the globe. We long to be a movement of churches transformed by Christ, transforming Canada and the world.
We recognize the authority of the Bible in everything we do. Our thirst is to love God with everything we have — our hearts, souls and minds — and to love people as we love ourselves.
